Welcome

Welcome to Capita Tower. This tower will be the idea standard of what other developers should strive for. It will also be attempts at similar designs for other low income housing. I would assume that there is a housing crisis, and either housing is too expensive and/or not enough housing. Here is the thing. Land is a finite resource. You can’t just wish land to come into place. With that said, we would need to build up, and not out.

Capita Tower will be a 43 story building that is 180m × 15m (9,000m2/29,500ft2). All units between 11-40 will be designated for low income housing. This will take 35% of the household’s income, and use that to pay for the unit. In addition to the rent, the household will be responsible for their Internet (required), Telephone (required), and Television services. With Capita Tower, one will be able to access network stations for free. Each unit will be exclusively electric for utility operation. This means there will be no gas line, and therefore not gas powered resources such as a gas stove. Instead, an electric one will be offered. For communications with management, this will be carried out via email, or telephone. Each unit will have its own IPv6 address which will allow the tenant to communicate with services that needs the address, however the tenant must activate the service.

The tenant will have access to 24/7 support from a Food Plus store, police sub-station, and one of the very few 24/7 post offices. Simply put, it might be hard for people to get to the grocery store, or post office during working hours as they might be working themselves. With that said, these resources will be available to the tenant no matter what time of the day. The public does not have access to these resources from the hours of 7PM – 6AM, or weekends.

And since the building is more than 5 stories tall, there will be elevators. There will be 4 public elevators with 1 of them being a freight elevator. The freight elevator is really good for moving in and out considering that furniture has to be moved. There will also be multiple fire escape stairwells. Since Capita Tower will be a brand new tower, it will meet or exceed all NSC requirements for the building. This will include concrete and/or steel construction, sufficient electrical outlets, and sufficient communication lines.
