Capita Tower will work with the local public transit system to have at least one primary bus route within 1 block of Capita Tower. This will be intended to provide an affordable and sustainable solution for getting to places the tenant will need to go to. Since the apartment building takes an entire block, there will be a lot of tenants in the building, and since this is for low income housing, it is likely that the tenant does not have an automobile. Since Food Plus will have a store in the building, there will be no need to go somewhere else for groceries. This will be a relief off the tenant since grocery shopping is much easier for the tenant. However, the tenant might still need to get to work, school, or physician appointments. All of these will need to be done with a bus if the tenant has no car.
The tenant will be responsible for the cost of their bus trips. This will be decided by the local public transit network, but since transportation is an essential resource, it will be affordable to low income households. The tenant will use the KTA Transit digital pocket within their ID card which is also their key card.
